Pure Flix is, in our opinion, the biggest and best faith-based streaming service out there. With over 1,200+ titles, great device support, the ability to stream on up to 5 devices at once, and tons of original Christian-themed content, it’s the perfect streaming platform for families.
But if it’s time to kiss your subscription goodbye, we completely understand, and we can help. In this article, we’ll walk you through how to easily cancel your Pure Flix subscription.
How to cancel your Pure Flix subscription in 3 steps
There’s nothing worse than trying to cancel a subscription, and realizing that the process is more complicated than it’s worth. Luckily, Pure Flix keeps the cancellation process simple and straightforward, so that you can easily cancel whenever you feel the timing is right.
Here’s how you can cancel your Pure Flix subscription on your mobile phone or desktop in 3 easy steps.
1. Log into your Pure Flix account.
Start by opening up Pure Flix from a browser. If you’re using your phone, make sure you use a browser , since you won’t be able to cancel your subscription directly through the app—it will need to be done through a browser.
Next, just log into your Pure Flix account as you usually would, using your login credentials.
2. Select “My Account”.
Once you’re logged in, the next couple of steps will differ slightly depending on whether you’re using a desktop or a mobile device.
If you’re logged in on your desktop, you’ll see a character on the top right corner of the screen. Hover your mouse over it, and a dropdown will appear. Click on My Account.
If you’re logged in on your mobile device, then instead you’ll see 3 lines in the upper left corner of your screen. Click on those lines, and then a character will appear. Click on it, then select My Account.
3. Select “Membership”, and then “Cancel My Membership” and confirm your selection.
If you’re logged in on a desktop, select Membership from the dropdown. Scroll down to the bottom of the page, and you should see a button that says Cancel my membership. Click the button, confirm your selection, and you’re all done!
If you’re doing this on a mobile device, first select General from the dropdown and then tap on Membership. Scroll down to the bottom of the page, and you should see a button that says Cancel my membership. Click the button, confirm your selection, and that’s it!
You shouldn’t face any complications while canceling your Pure Flix membership, however, if you do, there are tons of ways you can get help from their customer support team.
Their team is available 24/7 over live chat on their website (if you don’t mind getting help from a bot), over email at support@pureflix.com, and over the phone at 1-855-797-9690.
What if I subscribed to Pure Flix through Roku?
If you signed up to Pure Flix directly through a Roku device, you’ll need to cancel your subscription either directly from the Roku device or through my.roku.com.
To cancel your subscription using a Roku device:
Go to your Roku home screen and highlight the Pure Flix channel, then hit the (*) button on your remote control.
Click on Manage Membership, then OK.
Click on Cancel Membership, then OK. You may be asked to confirm that you’d like to cancel your membership, so be sure to do this step a second time if prompted.
If you would prefer to cancel your subscription using a desktop:
Open up a browser window and go to my.roku.com.
Log into your account using your credentials.
Click on Welcome → My account → Manage your membership.
From there, you should be able to cancel your subscription.
If you have trouble canceling your subscription through Roku, you’ll have to contact Roku directly. Just call them at 816-272-8106 and let them know that you need help with a Roku direct billing membership, and they’ll know how to assist.
What if there’s no cancellation button?
Let’s say you follow all the steps outlined above, but you can’t seem to access the cancellation button. What then?
If you’re trying to cancel but can’t there are a couple factors that could be at play. Either your account is already canceled, or you’re not signed in with the email address associated with the account.
If you’re unsure which email address is the one associated with the account, request a password reset and get the whole family to check their inboxes. The one who receives the email is the one who’s email is registered with Pure Flix, and so you’ll need to use that one to cancel the subscription.
If you’re still having trouble after trying all these steps, get in touch with Pure Flix’s support team.
