fuboTV made a name for itself as a sports-focused streamer, but it also offers the best Spanish-language plan on the market. The fubo Latino plan broadcasts Spanish-language sports, news, telenovelas, and more.
The US has the 2nd largest population of Spanish speakers in the world, and 13% of Americans speak Spanish at home. And streaming services have started to recognize this not-so-hidden demographic. Following fuboTV and Vidgo, YouTube TV and DirecTV Stream recently added Spanish-language base plans. However, many still only offer an Español add-on.
What can you watch with fubo Latino?
The fubo Latino plan has 45 Spanish-language channels, including música, telenovelas, news, family entertainment and plenty of deportes.
The big-name channels include UniMás, Univision, Galavisión and NBC Universo. But if you want Telemundo, you’ll need one of the English-language plans. Other channels include Telefe, Estrella TV and the in-house fubo Latino Network.
There are also Spanish-language versions of popular English-language channels, such as Discovery En Español, MTV Tres, and Nat Geo Mundo.
Sports channels included ESPN Deportes, FOX Deportes, beIN Sports, and 11 TUDNxtra channels. And if you’re in the mood for movies and telenovas, it’s got Cine Latino, Sony Cine and Pasiones.
Our fubo Latino TV Guide list every channel and what’s streaming over the next 7 days.
How much does fubo Latino cost?
Many competitors offer Spanish-language content on top of their English-language plans, but fubo Latino is a base plan. And it costs less than half of fuboTV’s cheapest English-language plan.
You get 250 hours of cloud DVR storage and can watch on 2 screens at the same time. If 2 screens aren’t enough, the Family Share add-on lets you watch 1 more screen for $5.99/month. Unlimited Screens bumps that up to 10 at home plus 2 on the go for $9.99/month.
Cloud DVR can be increased to 1,000 hours – for a rather steep $16.99/month.
Premium content add-ons include:
Pantaya ($5.99/month)
International Sports Plus – 11 channels ($6.99)
Latino Plus – 21 channels ($19.99/month)
Entretenimiento Plus – 9 channels ($9.99/month)
fubo Latino alternatives
Sling TV has multiple Spanish-language base plans
Sling Latino has 22 channels and can be purchased as a standalone package for just $10/month. But Sling also has at least 5 other Spanish-language plans to choose from for the same low price.
You don’t get UniMás, Univision or Galavisión, but it has NBC Universo, Estrella TV, Paseones and more.
DirecTV Stream’s Spanish-language base plan
Launched in October, DirecTV Stream’s ÓPTIMO MÁS plan is an English-Spanish hybrid package. But it’s the most expensive option here and costs more than DirecTV Stream’s entry-level Entertainment plan.
You get 100+ channels, with at least 55 in Spanish and 40+ in English. It’s also the only Spanish-language plan with Telemundo.
YouTube TV’s Spanish-language base plan
YouTube TV’s Spanish Plan costs about $2/month more than fubo Latino. It has 28+ channels in Spanish, including movie channels De Película and De Película Clásico, which are not in fubo Latino.
Similar to fuboTV, the main YouTube TV plan includes Telemundo, but the Spanish Plan does not.
Vidgo’s Spanish-language base plan
Vidgo’s Spanish Mas plan includes 45+ channels and on-demand content. It’s a few bucks more than fubo Latino and YouTube TV, and has many of the same channels.
Our Vidgo Channel List from A to Z gives you the full list of Spanish channels offered.
fuboTV has 2 Spanish-language add-ons
If you’re already a subscriber to fuboTV, the Latino Plus add-on costs $19.99/month for 24 Spanish-language channels.
For $9.99/month, the Entretenimiento Plus add-on has 9 channels with music, movies and more.
Hulu + Live TV’s Spanish-language add-on
Hulu + Live TV’s Español Add-on is only $4.99/month, but requires the main plan, making it a more expensive option.
It includes live and on-demand content from just 7 channels, including ESPN Deportes, NBC Universo, and CNN en Español.
Our takeaway: fubo Latino has the best Spanish-language plan
If you’re looking for an inexpensive skinny bundle, Sling Latino may be all you need. But for a well-rounded Spanish-language streaming service, the fubo Latino plan is currently the best option in terms of price point, content and features.
